Rock Late Night & Broomball - FREE EVENT!
Event: Rock Late Night and Broomball
Sunday, November 2
6:00p-9:00p
Students and their friends come out to join us for a night of worship, a message and some epic broomball at Lake Forest Ice Palace. What Is Broomball? Imagine ice hockey without skates, pucks, or sticks—but with just as much excitement, laughter, and friendly competition! That’s broomball in a nutshell, and it’s the perfect winter activity for our middle and high school students.
Played on ice (usually in a rink or on a frozen pond/lake).
Players wear regular sneakers (special broomball shoes with grippy soles are ideal, but clean running shoes work great—no cleats!).
Instead of a hockey stick, you use a small broom (like a mini push-broom with a rubber head) to whack a soft, soccer-sized ball into the opponent’s net.
No skating required—everyone runs (or slips and slides) on the ice, which adds hilarious chaos and makes it accessible to all skill levels.
